Given the fact that Marsha Blackburn is currently unopposed, wouldn't Sen. Kurita be serving the people of Tennessee and the Democratic Party better by challenging for that seat. In exchange, perhaps the party should spend some money in that district to start closing the gap.
My question is what are Kurita's feelings on the corruption in TN and Washington, and what would she do to try to fix the situation.
(Also though, I have to say I really like this site, and I've created an unofficial myspace page for Kurita @ http://www.myspace.com/kuritatn06. Don't worry, because we've linked to here.)
My question is, would Kurita refuse to confirm any nominee to the FDA panel that would refuse to allow OTC Emergency Contraceptives based on religious or personal reasons? Or in other words will she require that nominees to the FDA and EPA have a background in Science and not Theology?
Also, if there is an effort by congress to cracking down on illegal immigration, namely by strengthening border security, will Sen. Kurita push to have legal immigration applications increased or a guest worker program with the chance to gain full citizenship rights?
I've tried to point out numerous times that Kurita has a bad record on these issues. She voted for an abortion ban in TN and she proposed to strip immigrants of their right to a driver's license. She is against choice and prejudiced. But I don't know if you'll ever see this post because these days Daniel is just deleting posts he doesn't like.
This is ridiculous. I saved you a public lashing by deleting your asinine post, but if you insist, here you go.
*Inhale deeply*
First, this is a post for questions for Rosalind - do you have a question for Rosalind?
Second, you've lied yet again. Your abortion comment is unfactual. See our previous debate on that in the comments of this post where I CONCLUSIVELY prove that not only did she not vote for a ban, she killed it: http://kuritaforsenate.blogspot.com/2005/10/rosalinds-record-on-womans-right-to.html
Third, you've characteristically misunderstood Sean's question. He's asking if Kurita's desire to maintain security will prevent her from supporting making it easier for people to immigrate and become citizens. It's 100% consistent with her driver's license measure.
Fourth, you've created a performative contradiction. Ford opposes partial birth abortions too and he has several votes where he broke with the Democrats to increase immigration security just this year alone.
Fifth, your one deleted post comtained two false claims: (1) Rosalind refused to hand over her FEC report because she wanted to keep her financing a secret and (2) Rosalind is lookng to break the law if it will help her win. Either of these in publication would be grounds for a libel suit. I have let a lot of stuff slide, but that post didn't even approach a piss-poor level of human decency.
Sixth, post your reply on the thread you've referenced. If you post it here I will consider it an attempt to hijack this thread and I'll have no qualms deleting it. To help you save face I'll suggest that anyone who has read this visit that thread, which is the one that directly preceeded this one.
I'd like to know why she's not attacking Ford's record on a daily basis. She's too quiet. How can she expect to defeat Ford without making some noise?
Her lack of passion leads me to believe she's not serious about the race. I wish she was, because Ford is wrong for TN. There are lots of Democrats out there who aren't buying into the Ford line, please tell Kurita to step up her game!
Anon, I hear you. Kurita continually hits Ford on some of his worst votes and for spending so much effort and time campaigning outside Tennessee. I agree that she should step it up in terms of publicity, I will pass alng your comment to her and her campaign.
Charles, I'd appreciate your sharing with me why you think the election is and should be considered Ford's before the other candidate is considered? (I don't mean that passive-aggressively, I'm seriously concerned about the state of democracy among Democrats.)

Thanks for your comment michael z, I'm glad you've gotten something from this site. Stay tuned for Kurita's answer to your question!

Hey daniel!
I'd like you to ask her how high a percentage of the vote does she think she'll take away from Jr.?
